About

Jean received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Medical Units, Memphis, TN.  She majored in Medical Technology and was employed in this career for over thirty years. Jean received her Masters degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.  She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist and the Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

She is an active participate in community services in the Middle Tennessee area.  She served as a facilitator in the YMCA's Restore Program.  She was the director of the "Light and Power Company", an inner city outreach for children and young adult.  Here, Jean developed a dance group for teen girls and mentored "at risk" youth.  She is actively involved in church ministry and was the wife of a minister for 27 years.

Jean has three adult children and three grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her family and especially be "Grammy" to her grandchildren.  Her home is a reflection of her love of reading, sewing and decorating.  In the summer months, in her leisure time you will find her outside gardening or sitting on her patio watching the birds and squirrels play.
